My love of photography began with a journey to Bali in September of 2012.  My marriage had ended that year and my youngest son had left for university.  My heart longed to go far away and to explore and heal.  Little did i know Bali would be a place of self discovery and rebirth.  I spent an unimaginably beautiful and adventurous 6 months in Ubud filled with painting classes, yoga, daily meditation in rice fields, silence retreats, and deepest healing.  I slept under mosquito nets in a little house without walls and doors, drank fresh coconut water every morning and learned the rituals of the locals, some of which became lifelong friends.  I returned renewed and changed forever.
